Plateau Investigations Inc. was founded by Jim Westman in 1998 after a distinguished career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His investigative and surveillance experience is very extensive.

A fully operational career saw Jim assigned to counter espionage, counter subversion, criminal intelligence, organized crime, narcotics, major crime, economic crime, general policing, and VIP security (close personal protection).

Since joining the Private Sector, Mr. Westman and his associates have successfully conducted numerous cases involving all areas of investigation. Everything from serious Criminal defense cases, to Internet related extortion investigations, Insurance fraud, civil litigation files, domestic custody and divorce issues, numerous 'locates' and many other investigations both complex and simple in nature.
